In addition to expertise and experience, I believe that it’s about finding a good fit and creating a lasting, collaborative relationship. Here are some questions that my clients typically ask when they are trying to get a feel for me and my work

"I help you become a better version of yourself by seeing and supporting you for who you are"

I help you become “a better version of yourself” by seeing and supporting you for who you are. I use a strengths-based approach to help you unlock your own wisdom, as we look at your beliefs, choices and their consequences. I support you by seeing your blind spots, so you can work through issues and take advantage of unseen opportunities. Many of my clients choose to work with me at a deep level in ways that have a profound impact on their personal lives as well as business effectiveness.

My clients describe me as professional, playful, and consummately practical – a mix that helps get meaningful work done in an enjoyable way. I value curiosity, connection, and compassion – in myself and in the people I work with. Just as a dog sees everything as a fire hydrant, I see business issues fundamentally as people issues.

People issues in business can be quite complex. I cut through the “noise” to identify the “signal” – sorting through what’s really going on and making sense of it. I can synthesize a lot of disparate information and tease out key themes for you. And, I am able to articulate both the “business” issues and the “human” issues in ways that you can understand and act on. In short, I use my strengths to support you in developing yours.

My work has the most value in a long-term business relationship as a trusted advisor. I’m not a fan of the “one-touch” experience, but prefer the “embedded reporter” model, where I have many touches with my clients and really get to know them. Because I am “in the organization” but not “of the organization,” I can diplomatically name the “elephant in the room” as well as help tap unseen opportunities.

As a Consultant, I combine 25+ years of business and legal experience with my passion for connecting business people to their work in a way that leads to deeper personal satisfaction and better bottom-line results. Prior to founding Leboffe & Associates, I was a partner at Davis Wright Tremaine LLP, a national law firm, where I worked with private companies and non-profit organizations in the areas of corporate governance, private equity financing, intellectual property licensing, and mergers and acquisitions.
